Adult Tutor required!

We are looking for a reliable and flexible adult education tutor to work with us to plan and deliver 6 commissioned courses for adults with learning and social disabilities (including autism) by end of July 2019. The courses will each be 7 weeks with 2 hours each week of ‘guided learning hours’ during term-time and take place in two different venues, one at our site in Filton and the other within Bristol TBC.

The courses are commissioned by the local authority community learning team and therefore requirements will be needed including using council planning and monitoring paperwork and attending briefings within the wider community learning team.

The courses will be themed towards running a social enterprise food kiosk – such as work skills, money handling, food preparation and cooking, customer services and improving communication skills – with the expectation some of the learners will gain employment with us after the courses.

We are an ASADN provider and therefore we can utilise the ASDAN modules which fit with these themes which will bring extra requirements for portfolio gathering and evidencing for moderation.

We are excited to meet tutors who will bring their own ideas and experience of running similar courses in the past to this role.

Hours include planning and monitoring before, during and post- course (total hours for each course = maximum 32 hours paid)
