We are looking for a nationally qualified youth worker to lead our contracted youth work, which is based across 3 sites. This person will be experienced and efficient in leading youth work and managing staff teams.
Hours would be 16 hours p/week to include delivery on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and occasional Friday evenings.

Social Enterprise Development Worker: 14 hrs p/w – closing date 26th April
We are looking for an active and effective person to help us bring our vision of a social enterprise ‘food kiosk’ to life! The project will provide adults with learning or social disabilities training and employment to work in the food kiosk.
Hours would start at 14 hrs p/w which may include occasional evenings and weekends, with a fixed 1 year contract, but we hope this would increase and extend as the project funding develops.

We are looking for someone with an education background who also understands adult education/community learning and youth accreditation. We have an exciting pilot project to deliver, as well as community learning, accreditation opportunities and a commitment for training for our social enterprise project. A very exciting time to join the team and help us get our training and accreditation offers right!

School holiday-time assistant support workers and volunteers for Bristol Autism Project! – ongoing

1.’Step Up’ Monday evenings: closing date 26th April
We are looking for a qualified support worker to help with our Monday evenings term-time ‘Step Up’ group, which is for 15-18 year olds with learning or social disabilities. The project is funded by BBC Children in Need for the next 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
Hours would be 6-8.30pm Mondays term-time, with some flexible planning or training time occasionally during holidays.
2. ‘Star Kids’ youth club at Little Stoke on Tuesday evenings: closing date 26th April
We are looking for a qualified support worker to help with our Tuesday evening ‘Star Kids’ youth club for 13-25 year olds with social or learning disabilities which runs at The Stokes Youth Centre, Little Stoke Lane. The project is funded within the South Glos Youth Work Partnership for 3 years, with the possibility of extension.
Hours would be 6.30-9.30pm Tuesdays.
3. ‘Bright Sparks’ youth club Thursday evenings: closing date 26th April
We are looking for a qualified support worker to help with our Thursday evening ‘Bright Sparks’ youth club for 9-17 year olds with social or learning disabilities.The project is funded by BBC Children in Need for the next 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
Hours would be 5-7.30pm Thursdays.
4. ‘Junior youth clubs’, Friday evenings: closing date 26th April
We are looking for a qualified support worker or unqualified assistant support worker to help with our Friday evening youth clubs for 7-9 year olds and 9-12 year olds. The project is funded by Filton Town Council for one year, with the possibility of extension with future funding.
Hours would be 4.30-9.15pm Fridays. (2 sessions of delivery, 5-6 and 6.30-8.30pm)
Messy Hands Monday mornings, Maternity Cover Post: closing date 26th April
We are also looking for a qualified assistant support worker to cover a period of maternity leave for our ‘Messy Hands’ sensory messy play group on Monday mornings until end of August 2019.

As mentioned above, we need volunteers for activities during school holidays to support our Bristol Autism Project sessions for children with autism and their families!
We are looking for volunteers to support our new Messy Hands sensory play group on Monday mornings!
We need more help with our Silver Surfer’s group. This meets on Thursday mornings, 10-12 noon. We need volunteers who are confident around computers to help our older folk with the basics of internet surfing, mouse/keyboard/computer skills and gaining more confidence with technology.
All of these posts would involve completing an application form, DBS disclosure, and reference process.
We need volunteers who have a couple of hours a week to spare, who loves the outdoors who would be willing to maintain the outside of our property for us! We have some raised beds which need some attention and we hope to grow vegetables to use in our programme – the volunteer would be able to take some of the produce home! There is also the need for constant weeding and pruning around our car park area!
