Schools Work

We are really pleased to work in partnership with local schools to provide quality youth support work within educational settings; including one-off workshops, mentoring programmes, ASDAN awards, and can provide daily support and after school activities.

We provide Alternative Education for students at our centre (we’re on the South Glos Council Approved Provider List) – please contact us for costings if you wish to refer students to us. We provide ASDAN courses and individualised timetables for students including PSHE, Key skills, Citizenship, Sports, Arts and more.

We provide Young Carers support within Orchard School Bristol two afternoons per week.

We have also worked in the past with a special school for 2 years providing Relationships & Sex Education.

We provided Anti-Bullying workshops during Anti-Bullying Week across 4 schools with 300+ students in 2015! Let us know if you’d like us to come and work with your school to deliver class-based workshops around Anti-bullying or other PSHE topics! This included making a video which we can share with you!

We can provide weekly horse care and mentoring sessions – where students have a day a week out of school to gain new skills and patience working with horses, but also to talk about issues with a trusted mentor who can provide a listening ear and help suggest new strategies for coping for problems.

We are an accredited ASDAN provider of various short courses and awards, and also now of qualifications through CoPE and AoPE, so please let us know if you have an idea for how we can work closely with you to provide wider accredited outcomes for your students!

We have found that youth work principles can be really successful working in partnership with schools and if you have an idea for a project you’d like to work with us on, please get in touch!
