BRISTOL AUTISM PROJECT
Bristol Autism Project provides family holiday activities for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions and their siblings who live in Bristol. Families must live in an address in the Bristol Local Authority area to access this service, have a child that attends a special school in Bristol or be under the care of Bristol Social Care team.
BAP runs free activities Mondays-Fridays in the school holidays, with some activities targeted at 11+ age group and some at under 11 years.
We are very pleased to say that FACE will be supporting the Bristol City Council’s ‘Bristol Autism Project’ holiday activities for summer, half-term and Christmas 2018 as well as Feb half-term 2019.
Rachel Smyth will be the FACE team leader working on the Bristol Autism Project.
FACE is hosting free coffee mornings at their youth centre in Filton for parents or carers of children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) who would like to attend Bristol Autism Project.
These will be on Friday 12th October 10.30am-12.30pm and Wednesday 24th October 10.30-12.30pm.
These informal events give the members an opportunity to meet other parents/ carers over a cup of coffee (or tea) and share their thoughts, stories and experiences. They are also able to get to know the FACE team leader Rachel.
