Assistant Support Workers and Leader in Charge
We are looking for hard working, reliable assistant support workers and a leader in charge worker to join our teams at evening youth club sessions for young people with learning/social disabilities and a youth club session for 'mainstream' young people aged 10-13.
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, committed and reliable, with youth work experience, and eager to be part of an exciting and active team! For sessions with young people with SEND we also hope to recruit people with experience of working with people who have social or learning disabilities.
We require staff for:
Bedminster on Thursday evenings 6-9pm (working with 11-17yr olds with learning/social disabilities) - This is a completely NEW group opening soon!
Kingswood on Wednesday evening 6.30-9.30pm (working with 13-25 year olds with learning/social disabilities)
Frampton Cotterell on Tuesday evenings 6-9pm (working with 10-13yr olds)

School holiday-time assistant support workers and volunteers for Bristol Autism Project! – ongoing
We have numerous ongoing vacancies for assistant support workers and volunteers working with children aged 4-18 with autism and their siblings/parents.
These sessions run at various public spaces across Bristol during the Bristol school holidays. These are through the half terms, Easter, Christmas, and summer holidays.
We ideally want staff who can commit to do at least one day's work during every school holiday time.

As mentioned above, we need volunteers for activities during school holidays to support our Bristol Autism Project sessions for children with autism and their families!
We are also looking for volunteers to support our Messy Hands sensory play group on Monday mornings and various opportunities at our evening youth groups for young people 7-12 yrs on Friday evenings, plus working with young people and adults with disabilities across Tuesday-Thursday evenings at 3 of our sites!
We need more help with our Silver Surfer’s group. This meets on Thursday mornings, 10.30-12.30pm. We need volunteers who are confident around computers to help our older folk with the basics of internet surfing, mouse/keyboard/computer skills and gaining more confidence with technology.
All of these posts would involve completing an application form, DBS disclosure, and reference process.
We need volunteers who have a couple of hours a week to spare, who love the outdoors who would be willing to maintain the outside of our property for us! We have some raised beds which need some attention and we hope to grow vegetables to use in our programme – the volunteer would be able to take some of the produce home! There is also the need for constant weeding and pruning around our car park area!
We are also in need of new trustees, which is another voluntary role.
In order to have a balanced board we would ideally have applicants with skills in areas such as Youth Work, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Fundraising, or Marketing. Applications are not however limited to these areas. If interested in becoming a trustee please contact: email@example.com
