Volunteers wanted!

As mentioned above, we need volunteers for activities during school holidays to support our Bristol Autism Project sessions for children with autism and their families!

We are also looking for volunteers to support our Messy Hands sensory play group on Monday mornings and various opportunities at our evening youth groups for young people 7-12 yrs on Friday evenings, plus working with young people and adults with disabilities across Tuesday-Thursday evenings at 3 of our sites!

We need more help with our Silver Surfer’s group. This meets on Thursday mornings, 10.30-12.30pm. We need volunteers who are confident around computers to help our older folk with the basics of internet surfing, mouse/keyboard/computer skills and gaining more confidence with technology.

All of these posts would involve completing an application form, DBS disclosure, and reference process.

We need volunteers who have a couple of hours a week to spare, who love the outdoors who would be willing to maintain the outside of our property for us! We have some raised beds which need some attention and we hope to grow vegetables to use in our programme – the volunteer would be able to take some of the produce home! There is also the need for constant weeding and pruning around our car park area!

Trustees Wanted

We are also in need of new trustees, which is another voluntary role.

In order to have a balanced board we would ideally have applicants with skills in areas such as Youth Work, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Fundraising, or Marketing. Applications are not however limited to these areas. If interested in becoming a trustee please contact: chair@facefilton.org.uk

If you are interested in any of these positions please get in touch to discuss further!
